As a child, my journey began with music rooted in the southern gospel tradition of Appalachia. Later, as an Interfaith songwriter, I began to derive inspiration from all divinely inspired texts. My spiritual journey led me first to Self-Realization Fellowship and the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda, then to Swami Bodhananda Saraswati of the Sambodh Society, where I studied Vedic Scripture. I later continued my spiritual quest with Shivalinga Swamy and Vinnuacharya who introduced me to the intoxicating world of Shiva and his divine family. I have played and sung at venues in South India and at temples and churches in America.
Here, you will find over 200 songs I have written, based on the scriptures and sacred texts of Hinduism, Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Taoism and other faith traditions, divided into eight songbooks, as well as three books for adults, one book for children, and my poems and drawings.
